Automate the repetitive publishing work, but keep clear status and logs in the portal.
About
A publishing workflow for AI-built websites.
HostLuma.app is built by Host Luma, an established UK hosting company. The product exists because AI coding tools can generate useful websites quickly, but publishing them still often leaves customers dealing with repositories, build output, domains, SSL and hosting terminology.
Why it exists
The problem is not generating the site. It is getting it online.
HostLuma.app focuses on the part after generation: connecting a project, building it, publishing it, providing a preview URL with HTTPS and keeping enough logs for customers to understand what happened. Customer custom domains and CDN delivery are included, alongside the permanent preview URL every project starts with.
The platform is intentionally aimed at people who want to publish AI-built websites without learning Linux, SSH, cPanel, manual file uploads or server paths.
It runs on infrastructure Host Luma already operates for its wider hosting business, not a separate stack spun up just for this product: an OVH dedicated server with enterprise NVMe storage, and CloudLinux with resource limits hand-tuned over 8+ months of running real customer sites on it.
Principles
What guides the product.
Use website, preview URL, HTTPS and publish instead of exposing infrastructure terms first.
Back the product with UK managed support and clear documentation.
The same servers, the same tuning, the same team that runs Host Luma's wider hosting business backs this product.
Who's behind it
A UK hosting company, not a startup shell.
“I kept watching people finish something incredible in Claude Code or Cursor and then get stuck at the exact same wall — ‘okay, now what, how do I actually put this online.’ Meanwhile Host Luma was already running the unglamorous side of hosting for a lot of other websites: tuning servers, watching uptime, restoring backups when something went wrong, answering WhatsApp messages from customers who just wanted their site back up.
HostLuma.app is that same operation, pointed at a problem AI tools create and don't solve. We didn't spin up a new company around it — we pointed the team and the infrastructure we already run at the one step every AI-assisted build was missing: a real, managed path to a live URL.”

Content accountability
Who writes the public site, how it is reviewed and why it exists.
HostLuma.app public content is owned by Host Luma. Pages may be drafted with AI assistance, but product, pricing and support claims are checked against the current HostLuma.app position before publishing.
The purpose of this site is to help customers understand AI-built website publishing, not to create search-first pages. Our content standards explain the review rules used for public pages.
