Who we are
HostLuma.app is operated by Host Luma, the trading name of a UK-based sole trader (“Host Luma”, “we”, “us”), contactable at support@hostluma.co.uk. By creating an account, starting a free trial or subscribing to AI Hosting, you (“you”, the “customer”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
The service
AI Hosting is a managed publishing service for static and build-time-generated websites and applications. It connects a GitHub repository, builds supported project types, and publishes the result with a permanent preview URL, HTTPS, deployment history and build logs through the Host Luma portal. Feature availability is described accurately on our roadmap and changelog, which take precedence over marketing copy if the two ever disagree.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to hold a Host Luma account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and connected GitHub authorisation secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@hostluma.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
Subscriptions, billing and free trial
AI Hosting starts with a 30-day free trial: £0 today, then £8 per month for 1 included AI website, £12 per month for 2, or £18 per month for 5, under one subscription until cancelled. Billing is automatic through Stripe using the payment method you provide at checkout. Prices are shown in GBP and may include or exclude VAT as required by law; the price shown at checkout is the price charged. We may change subscription pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice; continuing to use the service after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal or by contacting support — there is no lock-in. Cancelling during the 30-day free trial means you are never charged. Cancelling after the trial stops future renewals; we do not automatically prorate or refund the current paid period, but if you believe you were charged in error, contact support@hostluma.co.uk and we will review it fairly. If you are a UK consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights, including any applicable rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Acceptable use
You may only publish, deploy and connect projects, repositories, domains and content that you own or are authorised to use. You must not use Host Luma to host or distribute malware, phishing pages, illegal content, content that infringes someone else's rights, or material intended to abuse, attack or overload our infrastructure or any third party. We may investigate suspected abuse and take proportionate action, including suspending the affected application, to protect the platform and other customers.
Your content and your responsibility
You are responsible for the code, content, data, secrets, third-party API keys and any domains you connect to or deploy through Host Luma. We do not review your application's source code or generated content before it publishes. Support can help with hosting-side issues — publishing status, build failures, preview URLs, HTTPS and account access — but your project's code, functionality and third-party integrations remain your responsibility.
Custom domains and CDN delivery
Each AI Hosting subscription includes one permanent hostluma.app preview URL with HTTPS, and the ability to attach one custom domain per application with HTTPS and global CDN delivery included. You are responsible for owning or controlling any custom domain you attach, and for the DNS changes required to point it at Host Luma. We may decline or remove a custom domain that is used for abuse, is not properly authorised, or creates a security risk to you or other customers.
Third-party services we rely on
Delivering AI Hosting depends on third-party providers, principally GitHub (source repositories and authentication), Stripe (payment processing) and our content delivery and infrastructure partners. We choose these providers carefully, but we do not control their availability, and an outage or policy change at a third-party provider may affect the service. See our Privacy Policy for how these providers process personal data on our behalf.
Service availability and changes
We aim to keep AI Hosting available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and do not currently publish a formal uptime SLA. Features marked as beta, preview, coming soon or planned on our roadmap may change, be delayed or be withdrawn before general availability, and should not be relied on as guaranteed production functionality. We may improve, limit, suspend or withdraw features to protect platform reliability, customer sites, infrastructure security or legal compliance, and will use reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect you.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if payment fails and is not resolved after reasonable notice, if you breach these terms (including the acceptable use section above), or if required by law. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your published application is taken offline; we do not guarantee indefinite retention of application data or backups after account closure — see our Privacy Policy for retention detail.
Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the code and content you deploy. Host Luma retains all rights to the AI Hosting platform, portal, documentation and branding. Using the service does not transfer ownership of our software or trademarks to you, and nothing here grants you rights to Host Luma's brand beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Host Luma is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid Host Luma for AI Hosting in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Host Luma against reasonable claims, losses and costs arising from content you publish through the service, your breach of these terms, or your misuse of a domain, repository or third-party service you connect to Host Luma.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, most often to reflect a genuine change in the product (see our changelog for what changed and when). We'll update the “Last updated” date above; material changes that reduce your rights will be communicated by email or a notice in the portal before they take effect.
